„Every Year Again“… comes the RWTHmoodle user survey
„Year After Year” is the beginning of one of the most famous German Christmas carols of today. The RWTHmoodle team also calls it “Every Year Again”. But we don’t have the Baby-Christ coming down on earth like in the carol, we furthermore give the users of RWTHmoodle the opportunity to evaluate the system and the services associated with it.

RWTHonline Survey 2020 – Your Opinion Matters!
This week a special RWTHonline survey for students of the IT Center has started. We would like to hear from you how you would rate the usability of RWTHonline and our support for RWTHonline.
Through our annual user satisfaction surveys (unfortunately only available in German) you gave us already a lot of critical feedback about RWTHonline, which was already used to improve this service.

The Chat support of the IT-SeviceDesk is an easy and quick way to contact the support team of the IT Center. Currently the Chat Support is available for you from Monday to Friday between 07:30am and 06:00pm. Due to the current situation we are unfortunately not able to support you personally at our IT-ServiceDesk locations, so we have extended our chat times to support you even longer.

There’s news! Our documentation portal “doc.itc” will soon be replaced by the new documentation platform IT Center Help.
We are pleased to present IT Center Help, the completely revised successor of doc.itc. The prototype is ready for testing and your opinion is now requested.
With IT Center Help, we provide you with our service-relevant information in a clear and transparent way. The new documentation of the IT Center has not only a completely new design, it also allows you to get instructions and information even faster and more efficiently.
We are now curious what you think of IT Center Help.
Do you find our prototype user-friendly, transparent and informative and does it meet your requirements?
Therefore, we are looking for you as another Friendly User, who will be one the first to have a look at the new documentation platform. Give us your suggestions and feedback. For the digital user test, you will get access to the new website and a questionnaire with tasks you can solve with IT Center Help. Since the test is online, you can take the test from the comfort of your home or your office.
Are you curious and would like to support us with your feedback on IT Center Help? Great – then simply send an e-mail to servicedesk@itc.rwth-aachen.de up to and including Friday, June 05, 2020 and write “Usability Test IT Center Help” in the subject line.
Write us in a short e-mail,
- whether you are a student, employee, RWTH partner or UKA member and
- which device and operating system you want to use for the test.
Further details will be clarified in direct contact with you.
Of course, so much commitment will be rewarded: We raffle 5 x 15 € vouchers for the RWTH Shop among all participants. Taking part is worthwhile.

Dem einen oder anderen sind sie vielleicht schon beim Rein- und Rauspazieren in unser IT-Service-Desk aufgefallen: Die Rede ist von den Feedback-Terminals des IT Centers. Diese stehen an unseren Standorten Seffenter Weg 23 und Wendlingweg 10 für Euch zur Verfügung.
2019 – Wir blicken auf ein Jahr voller prägender Ereignisse zurück (II)

Wie angekündigt geht es nun weiter mit unseren Highlights der Monate Juli bis Dezember. Angefangen bei der Verteidigung des Meistertitels “Exzellenzuniversität“ durch die RWTH Aachen, über die Eröffnung unserer lieb gewonnenen Social Media Kanäle bis hin zu unseren Reisen in den Osten und Westen auf spannende HPC Konferenzen.
2019 – Wir blicken auf ein Jahr voller prägender Ereignisse zurück (I)

Spotify und Co. haben ihn schon geliefert – den großen Jahresrückblick 2019 samt all Euren persönlichen Highlights des Jahres.
Nun möchten auch wir Euch die Höhepunkte präsentieren, die uns im Jahre 2019 am meisten bewegt haben. Gleichzeitig können wir so gemeinsam Revue passieren lassen, welche großen Veränderungen Einfluss auf uns hatten. Wir haben „Hello!“ zu RWTHmoodle und „Bye Bye!“ zu L²P gesagt, Social Media in Form von Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn und Youtube ins IT Center geholt, Konferenzen auf der ganzen Welt besucht, Spitzenplätze bei den TOP500 und Green500 sowie die Einweihung des CLAIX-2018 gefeiert. Aber wir haben auch alte Freunde wie CAMPUS-Office in den Ruhestand gehen sehen.
