Now it’s even easier to plot high-quality large-format printouts on a variety of materials
In the IT Center, high-quality printing devices are available for printouts by employees of the facilities, affiliated institutes and student organizations of the RWTH Aachen University as well as the University Hospital. We print on roll paper and then cut the printouts to size so that any format is available, limited only by the roll width.
To optimize the print service, a new portal is now available for print processing. The portal, which was designed and programmed by MATSE trainees from the department Process Support and Digitization Study & Teaching (PDSL) as part of their major programming work in cooperation with the print service, now makes processes much more transparent and easier. It also significantly improves usability and user experience.

May 02, 2022 is the day: The IT Center’s IT-ServiceDesk takes a big step toward normality. Both the SuperC support location and the printing service will reopen for personal contact. While the opening is subject to the appropriate conditions and hygiene measures for your and our protection and to counter the spread of the Corona pandemic, it will finally be possible to print posters, posters and co. at the IT Center, Seffenter Weg 23, and pick them up in person again starting next Monday, May 02, 2022. Consultation at the IT-ServiceDesk in the SuperC will also resume. Please note tha we are also part of the RWTH initiative “We keep wearing masks”.
The Printing Service at the IT Center – Back in Business
On 12.10.2020 the time has come: The IT Center Printing Service opens again for personal contact!
Although the opening is subject to the appropriate conditions and hygiene measures for your and our protection to prevent the spread of the Corona pandemic, posters, billboards and the like can finally be collected in person again from next Monday at the IT Center, Seffenter Weg 23.
It is important that you book an appropriate date for pickup. How to do that and what else you need to know is explained in this blog post.

Reopening of Printing Service and IT-ServiceDesk

Soon it will be time for the IT Center’s print service and IT-ServiceDesk to reopen for personal contact. Although this is only partially and under certain conditions due to Covid-19, we are pleased to inform you that we will soon be able to support you again in personal contact.
Part of the reopening are the Printing Service at Seffenter Weg 23 and the IT-ServiceDesk at the same location.
