This year, the IT Center, as the data center of a renowned Rhineland university, is also taking inspiration from the cheerful atmosphere of the fifth season. The carnival season is approaching and brings with it some changes to our opening hours. Here you can get an overview of our opening hours during carnival.

As another year draws to a close, the IT Center wishes all students, staff and partners a relaxing festive season and a successful start to the new year.
We are adjusting our opening hours slightly between Christmas and the beginning of the new year and have listed the changes for you in this article.

On Friday, December 13, 2024, the IT Center will only be open for you during limited opening hours due to an internal event.

Due to an internal event, the IT-ServiceDesk will only be open for you during limited opening hours on Friday, September 27, 2024.
Access to the IT-ServiceDesk Blocked
Since July 11, 2024, the construction work has been completed and access to the IT-ServiceDesk is once again possible as usual via the upper entrance!

Temporary Construction Work at Seffenter Weg 23
From Friday, June 21, 2024, the upper entrance to the IT Center service building at Seffenter Weg 23 and thus also the entrance to the IT-ServiceDesk will be closed for approximately 14 days due to paving work. This means that the entrance to the IT-ServiceDesk cannot be used either.
During this time, the parking lot will be closed to cars and bicycles. The disabled parking space will be relocated to the parking lot to the right of the main entrance to the IT Center (Seffenter Weg 23 / corner of Kopernikusstraße).

Availability During the Company Excursion

Our annual company excursion will take place on Friday, April 19, 2024, which means that some employees of the IT Center and the IT-ServiceDesk will not be available on this day. In some cases, there may be delays in ticket processing or telephone availability.
