Tips and Tricks for Microsoft OneNote

OneNote – is part of the Office package, but it is still not as well known as Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
Although, OneNote is much more useful than expected.

Put simply, OneNote serves as a digital notebook. Not only can notes be created with the keypad, but handwritten notes can also be recorded with the mouse, touchpad or on a touchscreen display.

But this tool can do so much more. Notes that would otherwise be chaotically scattered in various folders can be clearly structured here and filled with various digital content and media. If you don’t like loose paper lying around and don’t want to have Post-Its stuck everywhere, this is the perfect alternative.

Dynamic sitting at work is an important tool that can help us promote our back health and prevent problems.

When sitting dynamically, we should make sure to constantly shift our weight and change our sitting position. Therefore, if we constantly adopt different sitting positions, we will improve our spinal support muscles on the one hand, and on the other hand, the movement will provide our intervertebral discs with nutrients. Thus, we have the opportunity to prevent unnecessary back pain. The Selfservice is one of the first applications used by newcomers to the RWTH – whether students or employees. Since you will encounter and use the Selfservice again and again, we explain in two articles how and for what you can use it.

First of all, it is important to know how you can access the Selfservice and where you can find it.

Via the link you can access the Selfservice using the RWTH Single Sign-On. Here you need the user name (in the form ab123456) and the corresponding password to log in. If you are using the Selfservice for the first time, you have received the password in the ConnectMe link procedure.
