Im Rahmen von zwei Symposien, die am 12. Januar 2022 online stattgefunden haben, haben Rico A. Fischer, Dr. Anna M. Stertz und Prof. Dr. Bettina S. Wiese (Lehrstuhl für Psychologie II) vor internationalem Publikum Einblicke in ihre Forschung gegeben.
Dr. Anna M. Stertz hat einen Vortrag zum Thema „Dual-earner couples’ parental leave decisions: A longitudinal study on the impact of domain- and gender-specific role attitudes“ in dem von ihr organisierten Symposium „Dual-earner couples and the work-family interface: Understanding work-family dynamics from a dyadic perspective” gehalten. Rico A. Fischer trug mit einen Vortrag zum Thema „Career commitment and work-to-family conflicts in couples: A longitudinal study” zu diesem Symposium bei. Im Rahmen des Symposiums „The only constant is change: Navigating transitions in working life” hat Prof. Bettina S. Wiese einen Vortrag zum Thema „Postpartum mothers’ regrets of having (or not having) returned to work: Longitudinal relations with organizational commitment“ gehalten.
Die Symposien wurde online selbst initiiert abgehalten, da der 20. Kongress der European Association of Work and Organizational Psychologie (EAWOP), der vom 11. bis zum 14. Januar 2022 in Glasgow hätte stattfinden sollen und auf dem die Beteiligten eigentlich zusammenkommen wollten, pandemiebedingt abgesagt werden musste.
