The EEG labs of the Biological and Social Psychology chair have opened! We recently launched our first pilot testing with the help of our intrepid lab assistants and ExPra students this semester, and our first behavioral experiment is running in collaboration with Prof. Sabine Schlittmeier and our Bachelor students Louisa Hartwig and Annika Hartmann. We look forward to many more exciting studies investigating the cognitive, neural, and social underpinnings of how we understand our fellow humans, and how we communicate, think, act, and learn together. Our two soundproof cabins are designed for in-the-lab social interaction and our EEG system can be expanded to 2-person EEG hyperscanning settings.
