Gratulation, Herr Dr. Lerche!
Am 18.05. konnte am Lehrstuhl für Personal- und Organisationspsychologie eine weitere erfolgreich abgelegte Doktorprüfung gefeiert werden: André Lerche verteidigte seine Dissertation zum Thema „Interests and Competence Beliefs Relating to Applied Work: A Specific Domain of Vocational Orientations“. Herzlichen Glückwunsch zu dieser tollen Leistung und alles Gute für die Zukunft!
Herzlichen Glückwunsch, Dr. Aida Alisic!
Am 12. April hat Aida Alisic vom Lehrstuhl für Personal- und Organisationspsychologie erfolgreich ihre Dissertation zum Thema „Self-Management Competencies in the Context of Academic Careers: Differences Between and Within Individuals“ verteidigt. Wir gratulieren ihr herzlich zu dieser hervorragenden Leistung und freuen uns, dass sie unserem Lehrstuhl auch als Post-Doktorandin erhalten bleiben wird.
Start des DFG-Projektes “Crossmodal selection in attention and action…”
Lehrstuhl I begrüßt Ludivine Schils als neue Mitarbeiterin
„Dear all, I am Ludivine Schils. I am from Belgium. I wanted to study Psychology since I was 14. Since I started to study Psychology at the Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve my interest in research was born. During my Master, I specialized in neuropsychology and conducted two internships in research, aiming to understand the link between space & action, and space & cognition. These internships strengthened my desire to pursue a career in science to conduct my own research. I am looking forward to deepen my comprehension of the mechanisms in human cognition and action while working with Dr. Denise Stephan and Prof. Iring Koch in the DFG (Germany) – MOST (Taiwan) project and am very curious to conduct research on Crossmodal selection in attention and action: Age-related changes in cognitive preparation of crossmodal processing and their neural underpinnings. In my freetime, I also love to do a bunch of sports, from martial arts to circus and team sports. But to stick to stereotypes, as a real Belgian person I particularly enjoy to eat chocolate while tasting some new special beer with friends!“
Das LuF Arbeits- und Ingenieurpsychologie begrüßt Dr. Isabel Schiller!
Dr. Isabel Schiller verstärkt seit 01. Mai 2021 als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin das Team des LuF Arbeits- und Ingenieurpsychologie. Als Postdoktorandin forscht sie an der Schnittstelle von auditiver Kognition, Psychoakustik und Virtual Reality. Im Rahmen der Lärmwirkungsforschung nutzt Isabel behaviorale Methoden und instrumentelle Soundanalysen.
Von 2017 bis 2020 promovierte Isabel an der Psychologischen Fakultät der Université de Liège in Belgien. In ihrer Dissertation untersuchte sie den Einfluss von Lärm und der Stimmqualität von Sprecher*innen auf das Sprachverstehen von Grundschüler*innen.

Kick-Off des DFG Schwerpunktprogramms AUDICTIVE (SPP 2236)
Am 27.04.2021 ist das Schwerpunktprogramm AUDICTIVE (SPP 2236) mit einem virtuellen Kick-Off Meeting in seine erste Förderphase gestartet! In AUDICTIVE, was für Auditory cognition in interactive virtual environments steht, werden insgesamt 11 interdisziplinäre Forschungsprojekte und ein Koordinationsprojekt von der DFG gefördert. Das LuF Arbeits- und Ingenieurpsychologie ist in mehrerlei Hinsicht am SPP beteiligt; zum einen ist Prof. Sabine Schlittmeier eine der Antragsteller*innen zur Einrichtung des SPP, zum anderen bearbeitet Chinthusa Mohanathasan als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin das Forschungprojekt „Listening to, and remembering conversations between two talkers: Cognitive research using embodied conversational agents in audiovisual virtual environments“, zusammen mit Cosima Ermert (Institut für Hörtechnik und Akustik, RWTH) und Jonathan Ehret (Immersive Visualisierung, RWTH).
